[Coverage] The Party Of The Century

Petaling Jaya, January 2015 - The 30 acre mixed use development in Damansara Perdana, Empire City has had an exclusive preview party known as, “The Party Of The Century” on the 23^rd of January 2015.

Our team from wljack.com and loong-updates.blogspot.com were given a golden opportunity to do a coverage on such a grand party!

Date: 23^rd January 2015

Venue: Empire City, Kuala Lumpur

Time: 7pm onwards

Stellar Lineups Of Guests!

The party was really glittering and glamourous. It has featured not only the guests and artistes which were mentioned earlier but also some local prominent faces. It was a grand gathering of celebrities, bloggers and VIPs in one big Olympic-specification ice rink and stylized boulevards.

Among the notable guests we have seen include international artistes Paris Hilton, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, Australia tenor Mark Vincent, Kpop artiste 2AM, HK artistes Him Law, Eliza Sam, Sharon Chan, Elanne Kwong, Malaysia artiste Freya and etc.

There was a heavy crowd and photographers when Paris Hilton arrived at our media zone. During the brief appearance, Paris Hilton has actually taken a photo of us, the Malaysian media members and uploaded to her Instagram account. (Can spot me? J )

Some of these artistes were basically roaming around the whole venue and if you were lucky enough, you could bump into them and have a selfie with them!

Glamorous 20s Seen During Party Of The Century!

The theme for the party is 1920s. Thus, most of the people have dressed up stunningly well to fit the theme of the party. I have met some of my blogger friends during the night too and decided to take some photos with them in their great outfits!

Great Performances throughout the Night!

Among the guests who were invited, some of them have gone up on stage and performed for the attendees. The performance was kicked off with Kpop Sensation by 2AM. Their singing was great and mesmerizing!

Apart from that, there were many other great performances such as flamboyant speed painter, Cait’s performance in the air with aerial dancers, drums and etc.

Mark Vincent has also provided us with tympanic pleasure via his wonderful tenor vocal! All of these have enhanced the whole atmosphere in the party.

Of course, Paris Hilton has also taken over the stage with her set. We were expecting her to sing on stage. But nonetheless, the DJ-ing was good enough to keep the audiences entertained.

Taboo has brought us to the peak of the night with his awesome DJ-ing and singing on stage. He has played a lot of Black Eyed Peas songs which all of the audiences were familiar of and it was really great! The last song played was one of Black Eyed Peas’ most iconic, “Where is the love?”. Most of the audiences were seen clapping along with the beat! Before he left the stage, he hinted that Black Eyed Peas will be back and all of the crowd screamed in joy!  

  

Last but not least, DJ Ken took over the stage and all of the people continued to party whole night!

In between the performances, there were some inspiring speeches and launching ceremonies for Empire City.

Overall, I believe Empire City has done a great job in this preview party and I sure do hope this City of Lifestyle & Entertainment can be the ultimate spot for meeting, dining, shopping and relaxing!
