Ong was in Malaysia for her latest album “等等” promo
tour as well as a performance at MYFM Fantastic 15 Birthday Bash Concert. On 17th
August 2013 morning, there was a press conference held at IOI Puchong Red Box
and Olivia has shared some of her thoughts and feelings with the media members.
All New Mandarin
Album “等等”
“等等” is Olivia Ong’s latest album which is released 2 years
after her previous one with the title “Romance”.
Within the past 2 years, she has moved
to Taiwan. During this period, she has done some soul searching and she has learnt to be more confident. She
admitted that she used to be very shy to appear in front of media or in front
of the camera. But thanks to some newly met friends in Taiwan, she was motivated
to be more confident in expressing her ownself.
This latest album is targeted at the Mandarin-stream fans. She
has performed Mandarin songs in many mini concerts and live shows before.
Through these, she started to develop more interest in mandarin music. In fact,
throughout the past 2 years in Taiwan, she has never stopped performing too.
If want to be successful, then do not be
afraid to make mistakes!
Olivia has
admitted that she was always inspired by some of those quotes from famous
people such as Albert Einstein. Through some of these quotes, she has also learnt
that failure is a stepping stone for success.
Thoughts about Relationship
When
discussed about Olivia’s thought in relationship. She stated that she is
usually a passive type and she is willing to wait in order to meet the right
one. Currently she has not found someone suitable for her yet.
