[Movie Review] The Conjuring

The Conjuring is another masterpiece horror movie from James Wan. (the director of Insidious and Saw).
It was a spectacular horror genre flick based on a several reasons:

• It has a very well-paced storyline which was based on a true case.
• The plot was very well-explained and it's different from most horror movies nowadays which were always full of plot holes. In the movie, it has even shown us how demonologist captured the evidence of the evil presence with devices.
• The character introduction  and development were great. (The personality of the characters were introduced slowly to the audience to allow them to immerse into the life of these characters.)
• It creates fear into the audience with splendid cinematography and intense background music scores. (Totally different from recent horror movies which scare the audience with gross visual)

*However, the letdown were, some casts have emotionless acting and the make-up of the "ghost" was not that horrifying.

Otherwise, it's an old-school style horror movie in which horror movie fans will definitely enjoy!
