“R.I.P.D”
is a movie based on the comic book of the same
name. It has similar feel like MIB (Men In Black) series but the enemies are
the dead souls instead of the alien.
The Good:
- It has a well-paced storyline progression and fast action sequence.
- It has some funny moments which can bring some laughter to the audience.
- Sometimes, the film was shot in a good camera angle for some scenes especially the last part when both of the main characters face a massive group of enemies.
- Good chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges

The Bad
- However, the plot was quite predictable and you can almost expect what would be coming after every scenes.
- The CGI effects are not that excellent and at some point quite unrealistic and unsatisfying.
- The background setting of the movie is a bit hard to be digested and audience will find it hard to feel engaged with the world in the movie.
- Some obvious plot holes and unexplained matters.
