[Performing Arts] Intertwined @ MAP, Publika Black Box (6th-8th
December 2013)
“Intertwined” is a contemporary dance performance that challenged the idea of
collaboration between choreographer Steve Goh, music composer Chor Guan Ng and
set designer Lisa Foo who come together and create a performing art piece that
interacts between different arts disciplines, interpreting the word
"intertwined" through their professional artistic language of each.
It is a performing art
piece that is based on interaction, moveable abstract origami set design that
inspired the body movement of dancers, music that incorporate the ideas of body
movement, dance movement that react to music rhythm, emotions coming from deep
down of performers heart that interrelate to the environment. This performance
seeks relationship between space and time, defines imagination and reality,
symbolized consciousness and unconsciousness.
Three dancers including
choreographer Steve Goh, Bee Hung Tan and Foong Siew Ching will be performing
on stage, bringing the audience a newly created stage performance. Through body
movement and music, this performance is set to bring audiences an exciting
sensory experience.
