[Local Entertainment] Penny Tai has made Malaysia Proud With Her
Double Victory At The Prestigious Taiwan Golden Melody Awards 2014

take a recap over a news which I am quite excited about to share with you all. It’s
about Penny Tai Pei Nee’s acclaimed
victory at the prestigious Taiwan Golden
Melody Awards. She has won double major awards, namely the Best Female Singer and Best Producer, making her the first
Malaysian to do so.
Penny Tai who was born in Johor
Bahru is currently based in Taipei. She was signed by top Taiwan producer, Eric Chan and has been actively
producing her own brand of rock/folk/pop music over the past 12 years with
critical acclaim. Her latest album, Unexpected
has granted her the opportunity to win the Best
Female Vocals Award. On the other hand, she won Best Producer Award for the album of China newcomer, Kaola Liu. It is also the first time
for Penny to be a full album producer.
Managed by The WonderLand+ in Malaysia, Penny has never stopped giving support
to local music. In fact, for the current award winning album production, she
has utilized full Malaysian songwriters and many local musicians. Penny has never fails to impress her
fans and her achievements have helped boost up the reputation of Malaysia
Music.
