Huge crowd with stella line-up of performers!
The
event was huge and has been attended by 20,000 fans from Malaysia as well as
other countries all over the world. All of them came to witness the LIVE
performance of their favorite idols Jason
Derulo, Carly Rae Jepsen, Apink, SEKAI NO OWARI and Malaysia’s #MostWanted local act, Stacy.
Recorded
live for global telecast, the one-night only outdoor event, which is in its
seventh year, brings multi-genre talents from around the world onto a single
stage.

Kicked Started by Malaysia #MostWanted local
act Stacy!
Kickstarting
the show was Malaysia #MostWanted local
act and Award Winning singer Stacy! She has performed her upbeat
track, “Not for sale” featuring Malaysian rapper Altimet. She has proven herself as a spectacular performer on this
international stage. Her performance has hyped up the audiences.
SEKAI NO OWARI First Performance in Southeast
Asia was Awesome!
Following
Stacy’s appearance was SEKAI NO OWARI,
the Japanese band who sang the theme song for Attack On Titan Live Action Movie. They kicked off their
performance with that theme song, “ANTI-HERO”.
All of their fans were excited to see them performing for the first time in
Southeast Asia. The Japanese band has also amazed the crowd with their other
catchy songs, “Death Disco”, “SOS” and
“Dragon Night”. Apart from that,
they also mesmerized the audiences with 3D
laser orbs lighting the stage in tandem to the band’s unique musical
presentation. They are truly amazing!
K-pop sensation Apink took over the stage
with “LUV”! Definitely a night to “REMEMBER”!
All of
the Kpop fans were very delighted to see their favourite Kpop Idols Apink performing on stage during MTV World Stage. As soon as they
appeared on stage, the crowds started to scream in joy welcoming them! They
have performed a few of their popular songs including “NoNoNo”,”LUV”, “MR CHU” and “REMEMBER”!
The girls have interacted with the fans and they were truly adorable!
Carly Rae Jepsen showed how much she REALLY
REALLY REALLY LIKE the fans at MTV WORLD STAGE 2015!
One of
the limelight of the night was the Malaysian debut of Multi-platinum,
Grammy®-nominated singer-songwriter, Carly
Rae Jepsen. She has shown how much
she really really really like the fans by performing with 9 track set of lively
performances. She sang “Run Away With Me”,
“E·MO·TION” and a few of her other
new tracks on stage. The peak of her performance was when she sang “Call Me Maybe” and “I Really Like You”! All of the
audiences were very excited to be able to see her perform those two songs LIVE!
They sang along as she performed on stage! It was really a great performance!
Fantastic Finale for MTV WORLD STAGE 2015 by
Jason Derulo’s Performance!
The audiences
roared in excitement as the highly anticipated international superstar Jason Derulo came on stage to perform. Jason Derulo’s performance was very
energetic as he danced and sang his famous tracks including “In My Head”, “Trumpet”, “Marry Me” and
etc. After a few fastpaced tracks, Derulo took a break to have a heart-to-heart
with his fans, inspiring them to dream big and revealing the meaning behind
“Cheyenne”, his personal “stress-relief” song.
Much to
the delight of the audience, Derulo performed global favourite “Want To Want Me”. As the night came to
a close, Derulo had some fun teaching the audience some of the moves to his
song “Pull Up”.
Besides
these, some fans actually saw APink went
down to the VIP zone and watched Jason Derulo’s performance as fangirls
too! Wow!
The set
closed with a spectacular show of fireworks and a stunning display of lights, a
fitting end to a sensational night.

show will premiere on MTV in Asia on Saturday, 26 September at 1.30pm (TH/WIB),
2.30pm (PH/SG) and 3.30pm (MY), Saturday, 10 October at 9pm (JP) and Sunday, 11
October at 12am (KR).
