[Food Review] M136 Coffee
House @ Taman Maluri (Sri Maluri Hotel)
Kuala Lumpur, May 2016 – Just
a month ago, I was given an opportunity to do a food tasting review at M136 Coffee House @ Taman Maluri (Sri
Maluri Hotel). It was a pleasant afternoon and here I am going to share
more regarding the coffee house to all of you!
A Coffee House Named After Their
Address!
M136
Coffee House is a unique and cosy coffee house that is named after their
address No.136. It is located at Sri Maluri Hotel @ Taman Maluri, Cheras.
In
order to provide a place for people to escape from their hectic daily life and
get relaxation while enjoying the meals, the owners have started up the café
despite not having any prior experience in F&B
Industry.
In
terms of Interior Designs, M136 Coffee House has a simple
industrial interior with 2 sections to the café. The outer section consists of
metal high rise chairs and sofas while the inner section has a small sofa area
where the customers can have more privacy to themselves.
Initially,
the café only serve coffee and cakes. Due to the overwhelming demand and
support from the locals, they have recently added in hot food in home-cooked
style into the menu.
Their
menu has the influence of both Western and Local flavors such as the Grilled
Chicken Pasta, Dried Chili Chicken with Rice and Chicken Chop.

The Food!
Salmon Piccolo
Unique
taste of salmon served alongside little carrots and sauce. Quite a nice starter
for the session I had!
Pan Grill Butter Fish!
The
nicely grilled butter fish gave us a great taste to remember!
Smoke Salmon Fettucine!
Freshly
made flat thick noodle served with smoked salmon! Mi piace~!
Risotto Di Mare!
Buttery
textured risotto complemented with fresh prawn works as a great primo!
One of the signature of the coffee house!
Durian Cheesecake!
This
is one of the signatures of the coffee house as well as my favorite during the
whole session. The creamy texture, the durianlicious flavor and the sweetness
of it totally made my day! It is something to hunt for especially for the
sweet-tooth!
