[Coverage] AKMU STUDIO (Akdong Musician) Live In Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur , December 2016 – The South Korean duo which consists of siblings Lee Chanhyuk and Lee Suhyun,
namely Akdong Musician (a.k.a AKMU STUDIO) has come over to Malaysia earlier
this week to perform in KL LIVE at KL Life Centre. Thanks to my buddy
blogger Tian Chad (from tianchad.com), I have
had the opportunity to do a coverage on the event.

Great Musical Performances! Punctual Concert!
A great thing about the concert was that it kicked off punctually at 6.30pm with no delays at all. (It’s hard to find a concert with such punctuality nowadays. So, great job!)

As the show started, the duo has captivated
the audiences with their enthralling vocals and melodious songs. “Musician” is
really a fitting word for this duo as they can really perform very well!
AKMU Complimented Malaysian Fans As “Smart and Genius”!
The duo were very delighted and surprised to
see so many fans to turn up in their concert at Kuala Lumpur. They said that they were very anxious to be here for
the first time. And, they also complimented that the Malaysian fans were smart
and genius because they could memorize the lyrics of their songs and sang
along.
They said that if they have known that there
were so many fans in Malaysia, they would have come here even much earlier.
Unison Test For the duo!
Not much group
nowadays consists of only one male and one female. AKMU STUDIO is one of those group and uniquely, it is consists of
siblings.
During the concert, the
host emcee Baki tested the
compatibility of them both by asking a few questions while they have to answer
simultaneously. Ultimately, both of them has uttered the same answers for 6
questions, in unison! Such a great team they are!
Announcement For The New Album!
During the concert,
they have also announced that they will be releasing a new album on 3rd of January 2017. They do
not expose more regarding the information of the new album as they don’t want
to provide too many spoilers.
After seeing the
response in Malaysia that day, they promised that they will arrange their
schedule and try to come back to Malaysia again as soon as possible.
Christmas Medley!
Since the concert was
held one day after Christmas, the
siblings also performed a medley of Christmas
songs in conjunction to the festive season! Such a lively performance!
Encore Session!
During the encore
session, the siblings has introduced their band members in a melodious way.
They also thanked the audiences in Bahasa Melayu, “Terima Kasih!”
Lastly, they have
ended the concert with one of their most popular song, 200%!
I truly enjoyed the
concert and I really wish to see them coming back to Malaysia again. Million thanks

bringing AKMU STUDIO to Malaysia!
