Genting Highlands, December 2016 – TVB Star Awards Malaysia 2016 TVB馬來西亞星光薈萃頒獎典禮2016 has been successfully held on 26th November 2016 at Arena Of Stars, Genting Highlands. After the awards show, there was
a post-event press conference whereby the media members get to interview the
winners!

Press Conference Session With Ruco Chan陳展鵬 & Nancy Wu胡定欣 :
Q1: Ruco, what do you want to say to the
Malaysian fans after winning “My Favorite TVB Actor In a Leading Role”?
Ruco: “As both of my grandmothers are Malaysian, I
consider myself as half a Malaysian. First, I would like to say sorry for not
able to attend the show last year. This award is very important to me because
Malaysia is a place whereby my career started picking up and where people
started to know me more. The award is my gift to my late grandmothers.”
Q2: Nancy, do you feel that winning the awards
today and the one in Singapore give you more confidence to win the awards in
Hong Kong?
Nancy: “Regarding confidence, I think that every time
when I am attending an awards show, I would still feel nervous as well as
delighted. This feeling is there because the awards signify a “report card” for
our 1 whole year of effort. Either way I am really glad to take part in “A Fist Within Four Walls” 城寨英雄” and given a chance to
play the role which received so much love from the fans. Thanks!”
Q3: Will there be any sequel to “A Fist Within
Four Walls” 城寨英雄”?
Ruco: “You need to ask Nancy as she’s very busy. If
she agrees then I will definitely take part in it.”
Nancy: “You (Ruco)
also has limited schedule too. If there is any plan for sequel, I am also keen
to play a role in it.”
Q4: Apart from My Favorite
TVB Actor in a Leading Role最喜愛TVB男主角 and My Favorite TVB
Actress in a Leading Role最喜愛TVB女主角, what are the
other awards which you felt most happy to receive?
Nancy: “I am glad to be
able to win My Favorite TVB On-Screen Couple最喜愛TVB螢幕情侶 and also able to sing the theme song for the
drama.”
Ruco: “For me, I am
very happy that “A Fist Within Four Walls” 城寨英雄 can win My Favorite
TVB Drama Series最喜愛TVB電視劇集. Almost every
actors and actresses who took part in this drama have at least spent 10-20
years of their life in acting and still awaiting for the chance to shine. This
drama was a great platform for them.
The filming for this drama was very difficult. Plus, the market nowadays
is very diverse and it is hard to know which drama would suit the audiences’
taste. Knowing that the drama was able to receive such a positive remark really
made me feel very happy. I am very thankful to all of the audiences and media
members for good coverage regarding this drama.”
