[Explore] 9th MYBALLOON FIESTA
Kuala Lumpur, March 2017 – MYBALLOON FIESTA has run its ninth year
at Desa ParkCity a few weeks ago
from 10th March 2017 till
12th March 2017. Our team
from wljack.com has
been given a chance to attend the event during one of the days.
Balloons In The Park
There
were two different format during the event. One of them is from 7am to 10am,
whereby all balloon activities in the park will only be open exclusively to the
MyBalloon Club members. The exclusivity
include Gourmet Breakfast Buffet,
Complimentary Tethered Balloon Rides, Live Jazz Performance, Free Yoga &
Zumba Class by WanderClass, Limbo Dance & BBQ Workshop and etc.
The
second format is general admission after
3.30pm which includes 360 VR Hot Air
Balloon Experience, Yoga & Zumba Class by WanderClass, Balloon Display and
Night Glow Show.
With the
change of its location this year, the fiesta is aptly themed “Balloon In The Park” whereby the
visitors can have a sight on the hot air balloons inside a Park.
This is
the first time I attended MYBALLOON
FIESTA. I think the crowd was quite huge. Most likely it is due to the
location which is nearer to the city centre.
On-ground activities, Food Trucks and Balloon
Display
Like most
other festivals, there were on-ground activities and food trucks. There were
also some costumed “Birdman” walking around for photography. The on-ground
activities include some stage interaction, Extreme sports intro, Indonesia
Dream Destination Wishlist corner, VR Balloon experience corner and etc.
Most
importantly, the main highlights of the day was the hot air balloon display. At
night, the hot air burner will be ignited to present a night glow show for the
delights of the visitors.
Overall,
I think it was an event suitable for the youngsters for a hangout or gathering
in a big group of friends for chilling out and relax.
Of
course, there were some flaws in the events too which I think the organizer should take note of in order to provide a better experience in upcoming years. (Eg: The parking direction, Ticketing, Muddy water entering stage area and etc)
We wish
that we could attend the Mass Ascension activity
which takes place in Putrajaya too.
However, our schedule was a bit tight for us to travel to both different places
on the same day.
