April 2017 – The top 8 finalists of Miss Astro
Chinese International Pageant 2017 “Astro国际华裔小姐2017” has just recently been announced.
After going through online selection and two rounds of auditions, judge
panellists including MY FM Radio
announcer Jack Lim林德荣, MELODY FM radio announcer Angel Wong王翠玲, Jentzen林震前, Hero祖雄, famous
fashion blogger Jane Chuck 刘雪琪 and 《Astro国际华裔小姐2016》 winner Serene 林宣妤 finally concluded their final picks of top 8 finalists
for this year Miss Astro Chinese International
Pageant 2017. Each of them consists of their own unique style and
definitely has what it takes to become everyone’s favourite beauty goddess.
The finalists include Tiffany郑亦庭（21 years old, Kuala Lumpur）、Poly彭静盈（22 years old, Kuala Lumpur）、Mika宋紫薇（21 years old, Kedah）, Chelsey陈咏诗（21 years old, Malacca）、Janice刘洁莹（23 years old, Kuala Lumpur）、Lovell陈馷佳（23 years old，Pahang）、Jesselyn刘洁琳（21 years old，Penang）and Moon陈玉娥（21 years old, Johore）.
The finalists this year have a great
background history of past pageant/ competition experience. Janice刘洁莹 was the champion of last year模特儿选秀节目 while Lovell陈馷佳 was the Champion of《ifeel Girl
Star Search 2016》. Besides, Moon陈玉娥 is very popular in social media with a total of 330 k
followers.
On the other hand, Mika宋紫薇 has the height of 176 cm which might give her an
advantage over others. Otherwise, Tiffany郑亦庭、Poly彭静盈、Chelsey陈咏诗& Jesse-lyn刘洁琳 have their own unique talents which are going to impress
the audiences. It is going to be a tough competition this year for sure.
The top 8 finalists are undergoing
training now. They will be travelling to Korea
this May for a special film shots. The special show is planned to be
released on 10th and 11th June 2017, 8.30pm via Astro Go and Astro华丽台.
