[Local Entertainment] Press Conference of “LEE
CHONG WEI” World Premiere
Kuala Lumpur, February 2018 – The one and only
screening of LEE CHONG WEI Extended
Version 133 Minutes World Premiere is definitely something to anticipate
for on 9 March 2018 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur
Sports City.
In
conjunction with the upcoming screening, the organizers CB PICTURES and SKY EVENTS
in association with MAHU PICTURES,
held a press conference at the Main
Atrium of Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur to offer a sneak peek into the world
premiere.
Movie
Producers Josiah Chieng and Ben Lee have made an appearance, along
with the main cast members, namely Datuk
Rosyam Nor, who plays Chong Wei’s coach, Jake Eng (young Chong Wei), Tosh
Chan (adult Chong Wei), Ashley Hua and Agnes
Lim. They have shared their unforgettable experiences during the filming
process.
Social
media star-turned-singer Priscilla Abby
and Nabila Razali are selected as
the movie soundtrack singers. Both will be performing on the night of the World
Premiere. Nabila Razali will sing
the movie soundtrack titled Cahaya Juara.
Kuching-born Priscilla Abby rose to
fame in 2016 by doing covers on YouTube
and is now a signed artiste with an album under her belt. Despite being a
newcomer, she has already done a solo show for a crowd of 2,000. Nabila Razali, who debuted in 2013, has
been actively making her mark as both an actress and a singer in recent years.
She is also pursuing her Masters in architecture. Her latest single Pematah Hati was one of top 3 trending
videos on YouTube upon release, making it a commercial success.
The much
awaited 2nd trailer of LEE CHONG WEI
was released showing on a LED screen, attendees at Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur
were the first ones to see it.
The 9 March 2018 World Premiere is

purchased ticket comes with FREE

A massive
20,000 crowd is expected at the World Premiere, where the film will be shown on
a special-built giant 40 metre x 17
metre LED screen, and it is set to make its way into Asia Book of Records and The
Malaysia Book of Records as the largest movie screening in Malaysia.
Prior to
that, there are myriad activities to thrill the crowd including Red Carpet Walk, artistes’ performances
and a carnival with at least 10 vendors
that begins at 4:00pm.
