Artist Introduction: BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK consisting of four members namely, JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA, has drawn lots of attention globally ever since their first debut single, ‘SQUARE ONE’ in 2016. Following their huge success, they have released one single and three EPs so far. Their hit songs have topped the charts both in Korea and internationally including the Billboard charts. They are the first and only KPOP girl group to have four number-one singles on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.

At the time of its release (June 15, 2018), ‘Ddu-Du Ddu-Du’, set a record as the most viewed Korean music video in 24 hours on YouTube with a total of 36.2 million views.

BLACKPINK also collaborated with British Pop singer, Dua Lipa, for ‘Kiss and Make Up’ which is a bilingual song in Korean and English. This song debuted at No.93 on America’s main single chart and they are the only Korean girl group to score multiple entries on the Billboard Hot 100.

With a new global record deal with Interscope Records and solo releases coming for each member (kicking off with JENNIE on Nov 12), BLACKPINK should continue to make major waves as a leader among KPOP’s female acts for the rest of 2019 and beyond.

BLACKPINK will be gracing their fans on 23rd February 2019 in Malawati Indoor Stadium, Shah Alam and the showstopping concert will start at 6pm.
