in Sungei Wang, Kuala Lumpur on 7th

Karencici Came On Stage! She Loves
Malaysian Food!
The
show was started with the opening act by 4 UTAR students. After the
opening act by the students from UTAR, Karencici have appeared on stage. When
on stage, Karencici asked the fans
about what are the good Malaysian food to recommend. The fans recommended her
to try Char Koay Teow, Ais Kacang and etc.
She then proceeded with the singing performance of “傻眼了Sha Yan” and “陪你玩到底”. She shared that her grandmother likes singing and
dancing too. Her grandmother always encourages her into doing the same thing as
well. She started to write songs since 13-14 years old.
After that, she continued with the performance of "FaceTime",
which tells the story of a long distance relationship.
She shared that she was chosen to compose a song for Hebe at the age of
16 years old. Hebe has invited her to join the recording session during that
time.
She then sang "Close To You". Her performance displays a very
romantic interpretation of the song.
In regards to her future plans, she is currently preparing for her next
album. In the meantime, she's also planning for the recording of music videos.
Boon Hui Lu’s
Appearance On Stage!
After that, it's Boon Hui Lu's turn to appear on stage. She kicked off the stage with “爱情十万个为什么 Why". The song is about the changes and "why" in how post-90s approach to love and romantic relationship.
She shared her thoughts regarding her album "亲爱的你，怎样的我”. The album took her around 2 and a half years to
prepare.
Then she sang “亲爱的你” which she dedicated to her grandmother who has
already deceased.
She also performed" 只有眼泪”. Crying is often
seen as something weak by people. However, it's the tears that always accompany
us during our lowest times.
Regarding her album, there was a space between 亲爱的你
and 怎样的我. This space is left empty so that it can leave more
creative answers for the listeners to fill in with.
Apart from singing her own songs, Boon
Hui Lu also sang a cover song LIVE. She sang "飘向北方”, a cover which has gained a lot of recognition.
Boon Hui Lu and
Karencici has also performed a duet together with their own version of “不爱我就拉到” by Jay Chou.
Lastly, they proceeded with an autograph session.
