Singing Pizza Concert
STAR STUDDED EVENT AT THE SINGING PIZZA CONCERT!
PETALING JAYA, 22 October 2019 – Earlier this
month, Pizza Hut and Universal Music Malaysia have passionately brought pizza
and music enthusiasts an immersive experience with a night of flavours and
musical wonders via ‘The Singing Pizza Concert’.
The exclusive star-studded concert has taken place at Bentley Music
Auditorium in Petaling Jaya. It has provided more than 500 fans an up close and
personal evening with seven unique Malaysian acts.
The concert, which came after a series of passion-driven experiences as
part of ‘The Singing Pizza’ campaign, marks a cross-industry collaboration
between Pizza Hut and Universal Music Malaysia to connect and inspire Malaysians’
passion for life with richer pizza experience elevated through music.
Aman Ra heated up the
night with his most recognized hit, “Budak Flat”, and continued to flaunt his
impressive bars from his latest drop “Fighter” that led the crowd to “Bangun”
from their seats.
Zen then took over
the stage and mesmerized the audience with her latest single, “If I Knew”. The
vocal powerhouse also surprised her fans with a special mashup of “Kenangan
Terindah and See You Again” leaving the crowd amazed.
There was an interactive game segment “Blind Pizza Tasting” where four
fans had an intimate and unforgettable moment with Zen and Aman Ra on
stage. Up-and-coming pop sensation, Shalma Eliana; took the stage next with her
debut hit, “Janji Terindah”. She also took on the R&B number, “If I Ain’t
Got You” and closed her set with her latest single, “Mahukah Kamu”.
Alvin Chong then put on an
impressive performance with latest tracks like “Tajam” and “Bei Ni Chong Ai”
along with his own rendition of the ever-popular “Cinta Luar Biasa”. Two lucky
fans were delighted as they were announced the winners of the special ‘Singing
Pizza’ contest where they will be flying off to Sydney, Australia with Alvin Chong to catch Shawn Mendes live.
Fans were swooning over Fattah
Amin who took the night for a romantic turn with his performance of
“Isterimewa” and “1234U”. The duo ThomasJack
demonstrated powerful showmanship with “Rumours”, a cover of “Ku Jugak
Mencintaimu” and a “Mungkin Nanti” duet with Zen.
The night closes with a ‘bang’ with Fazura,
who appears on stage with her uplifting number “Bangun”. Her husband, Fattah
Amin joined her on stage for the duet of “Paling Sempurna” and the ballad
number “Bisa Apa” before ended the night with “Can’t Forget Me”.
Fans were also treated to a throwback of “Pizza Hut Moment”, where lucky fans got to experience special
moments with their favourite artists, including a Pizza Baking Session with Fattah Amin, a manicure session and
teatime at Pizza Hut with Shalma Eliana,
a special dance workshop instructed by ThomasJack
and Zen with a pizza feast after
practice, and an exclusive studio session followed by a Pizza Hut dinner with Aman Ra.
Conceptually turning a regular pizza box into a music box, ‘The Singing
Pizza’ comes with vinyl-themed pizza boxes featuring illustrations of Fazura, Fattah Amin and Alvin Chong
with a QR Code to access 200 exclusive tracks, including top trending and
unreleased tracks that are updated biweekly on The Singing Pizza App, which
will be available until the end of the year.
‘The Singing
Pizza’ campaign was recognised with the “Excellence
in Marketing Innovation” award at the recent Marketing Excellence Awards
2019 organised by Advertising+Marketing Magazine.
