[Coverage] Anugerah Skrin 2019

Kuala Lumpur, November 2019 – One of the most prestigious awards show in Malaysia, Anugerah Skrin 2019 has taken place over last weekend on 1^st November 2019 at Merdeka Hall, Putra World Trade Centre (PTWC). It was broadcasted live on TV3 and was streamed live via www.tonton.com.my.

Anugerah Skrin gave recognition towards credible locally produced drama, films and in-house productions. Still maintaining the same objective since its first organization in 1994, ASK 2019 continues to set out their effort to raise the entertainment industry with giving recognition and celebration of local players in the industry.  Apart from TV3, ntv7, TV9, and 8TV that are ensconced under Media Prima Berhad, TV3 as the organiser also offer the opportunity to other broadcasting stations, RTM and BERNAMA to participate in ASK 2019.

Anugerah Skrin 2019 is radiated by Nivea as the co-sponsor, supported by Hot FM and Kool FM as the official radio partner, also tonton, xtra, Oh Bulan! and Drama Sangat as digital partners.

Apart from the awards presentation for 30 categories including 14 drama categories, 7 film categories, 9 non-drama and technical categories, the awards show also featured spectacular performances by popular celebrities such as Dato' Jamal Abdillah & Sissy Imann, Syamel & Ernie Zakri, Hael Husaini & Dayang Nurfaizah, Ayda Jebat & Santesh, fascinating magic performance by The MADgicians, energetic dance performance by 2Twenty2 Squad, comedy sketch starring Ebby Yus, Issey & Zizi Kirana, as well as powerful performances from Andi Bernadee & Psycusix  and the 10 proteges of Mentor Milenia 2019

The awards show was hosted by 6 popular and sensational celebrity couples, Zizan Razak & Nabila Huda, Rozita Che Wan & Zain Saidin, Siti Sarah & Shuib, Shaheizy Sam & Syatilla Melvin, Eira Syazira & Azad Jasmin, and Elly Mazlein & Shuk Sahar.
