Selangor, August 2022 – AniManGaki 2022, the annual convention that brings together thousands of animation, comics, and games (ACG) fans, was held on the 27th and 28th of August 2022 at the MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre!

 

AniManGaki 2022 is undoubtedly one of Malaysia's largest anime events this year! After nearly two years of pandemic, it's great to see anime fans physically gather and interact with one another. The event was so large that you could spend your entire day there for two days straight and still want more!

 

Furthermore, there is a significant increase in the number of exhibitors, artists, and cosplayers booths this year when compared to previous editions. I'm sure many fans were overjoyed to meet and interact with their favourite cosplayers.

 

In addition, the merchandise market appears to be very large this year. You can basically get anything and everything related to anime, comics, and games here!

 

Aside from that, many stage activities take place over the two days, such as singing performances, guest appearances, Animangaki Idol, cosplay competition, lucky draw, and many more. There are numerous concurrent events taking place too, such as workshops, a Vtuber showcase, and so on. Most of the booths also offer games that grant the visitors a chance to win great goodies!

 

Most importantly, this year's event will feature special guests such as MindaRyn, Randowis, Emirichu, Shirahama Kamome, Ernest Ng, Keith, Kaoru, and others!  Our team was fortunate enough to interview MindaRyn; please check out our interview article soon!

 

Animangaki 2022 was definitely one of the most heavenly events for Malaysia's anime, comic, and game communities. Let's keep an eye out for their upcoming events!
