[Launch Coverage] The Tales of The Moon @ Sungei Wang Plaza
Kuala Lumpur, September 2022 – As per mentioned in
the previous article (Read here: https://www.wljack.com/2022/09/upcoming-event-tales-of-moon-sungei.html), this year
marks the 45th anniversary of Sungei Wang Plaza, and what better way to
commemorate the occasion than by winning The BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards
2021-2022, Nation's Pride Brand of the Year in Nation's Most ICONIC &
Renowned Mall.
Sungei Wang Plaza has also debuted its latest cultural and art
installation, 'Mid-Autumn The Tales of the Moon,' which will run from September
1st to September 25th, 2022.
The visitors to the mall will be able to see the giant inflatable moon
at the Centre Court, a giant rabbit at the Main Entrance, four hand-painted
jade rabbits, and an entire street filled with over 500 lanterns along the
Lantern Walk!
During the launch of 'Mid-Autumn The Tales of the Moon' on 11th
September 2022, the visitors were able to meet local artistes from Dissy
低清 including K 佬 (@klayheng ), 大Hee / Maria Hee(@kelkelhee), Adeline (@adelinewongg),
and Zuvia (@zuvia_p). They have selected a few lucky fans to go on
stage and interacted with them by doing the latest dance by Maria Hee, “森七七”!The artistes have
also joined the Lantern parade along with the crowd.
Aside from that, the event included Chinese traditional dances,
Lion dances, and a drum performance, which added to the festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the lantern parade,
in which all of the VIPs and celebrities paraded alongside the general public
in the middle of Bukit Bintang Road! The thrilling atmosphere made the night a
truly memorable one to watch!
Overall, this was definitely a good initiative by Sungei Wang Plaza to organize these activities! Kudos to their team for the good effort! Do check out the Sungei Wang Plaza during this period of time!
