enjoy clam dishes, Clam Sanctuary 啦啦声 should be on your list of
must-visit restaurants. This restaurant, located in Kuala Lumpur's
bustling Hartamas district, specialises in clam dishes that are sure to
tantalise your taste buds.
The "Man Tau Bun with Kam Heong Clam," priced at
RM 9.90, is one of their dishes that I have tried. This dish pairs the
fluffy and savoury man tau bun with the spicy and flavorful kam heong clam.
It's definitely worth a try, and there are plenty of other options, including
Chilli Butter Clam, Salted Egg Clam, Ginger Black Pepper Clam, and Black Bean
Sauce Chilli Clam.
Another dish not to be missed is the "Noodle with Sake
Wine with Bentong Ginger Soup" with Pearl Clam, which costs between RM 22
and RM 44. The clams served here are some of the largest you'll ever see in a
clam restaurant. The restaurant serves a variety of noodles, including thick
rice noodle, udon, ramen, bamboo wantan mee, and rice noodle roll, so you can
pair your preferred noodle with the clam soup.
Clam Sanctuary 啦啦声 also serves other dishes, such as Clam Risotto Rice
(RM 29) and Aglio Olio clam, if you're looking for something a little
different. These dishes are also excellent options for those looking to branch
out from traditional clam dishes.
The restaurant's ambience and environment are also excellent, which makes it a great spot for a meal with friends or family.
During my visit, I also witnessed the lion dance and
ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was attended by popular Malaysian DJ Leng Yein and
her sister Leng Sean. The event was hosted by great emcee of the day 苗苗林静苗.
