MOTAC awarded Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park the first and only Malaysia Tourism Quality Assurance Platinum rating.
Genting Highlands, 2023 – Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, a world-class attraction at Resorts World Genting, was recently awarded the Malaysia Tourism Quality Assurance (MyTQA) platinum rating by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC).
The vibrant 26-acre wonderland above the clouds was entered into the Ministry's quality assurance programme under the "Man-Made" category and received a high overall rating of 96.69% in 7 key evaluation criteria. MyTQA evaluated the outdoor theme park based on its appearance and experience, service quality, facilities, marketing and promotion, customer survey, safety, and sustainability best practises.
MOTAC launched MyTQA in 2014 to endorse and recognise quality excellence in Malaysian tourism products and services. The accreditation programme increases tourists' trust in local tourism products and serves as a key reference for them in selecting the best products.
