Sungei Wang Plaza "Fun Under The Moon" Lantern Parade, Thousands Gather to Light Up Bukit Bintang.

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 – Yang Berhormat Tuan Fong Kui Lun, Member of Parliament Bukit Bintang, officiated the annual Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade at Sungei Wang Plaza on 24th September 2023 at 7 p.m. The show kicked off with an award-winning face-changing performance. 

"This year marks the seventh anniversary of the Sungei Wang Plaza Lantern Parade. Our Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade is more than just a celebration; it is a testament to Malaysia's rich cultural heritage. It provides a platform for us to embrace and cherish our traditions," said Sungei Wang Plaza Centre Manager Mr Joseph Teo.

The Lion Dance Troupe from Persatuan Sukan China Sungai Besi Selangor, the 1st Runner-Up of the 2nd Sungei Wang Plaza National Traditional Lion Dance Competition in 2023, kicked off the Mid-Autumn Lantern Parade, which was attended by thousands of people. A procession of up to 30 lion dance troupes, LED dragon dancers, stilt walkers, a marching band, shoppers, and tourists formed a spectacular scene. Finally, the Lantern Parade concluded with an amazing Chinese Drumming Performance by VR Drumming Academy, which ended with a bang.

Furthermore, in keeping with the Carnival theme, this year's Sungei Wang Plaza Lantern Parade includes all-day carnival games, performances, free gifts, and other activities at the Sungei Wang Plaza entrance. In addition, MY Radio announcer Jack Lim, Emely, Aki, and Der Ting made special appearances to play games, distribute goodies, and parade with the audience with their lanterns.

Sungei Wang Plaza presents the largest Lantern Parade in Bukit Bintang, which is sponsored by Magnum and broadcast on MY Radio. Yang Berhormat Tuan Fong Kui Lun, Member of Parliament for Bukit Bintang, strongly supports the event.

金河广场举办的一年一度备受瞩目的中秋游灯会于2023年9月24日下午7点隆重开幕，由吉隆坡武吉免登行动党国会议员方贵伦主持，开场表演包括备受赞誉的变脸表演。金河广场经理张芳毅表示：“今年是金河广场游灯会的七周年。我们的中秋游灯会不仅仅是一场简单的庆祝活动，更是马来西亚丰富文化遗产的体现，是我们传承和宣传传统的平台。”

这次万人中秋游灯会一开始由荣获第二届金河广场全国传统舞狮比赛2023亚军的雪州沙登新街场华人体育会龙狮团领导，带领多达30支舞狮团、LED舞龙、高跷人以及购物者和游客一同提灯笼游行，场面壮观非凡。最终，在大众鼓艺学院精彩的鼓艺表演中，中秋游灯会圆满落幕。

除此之外，今年的游灯会以嘉年华为主题，金河广场大门口设有全天嘉年华游戏、表演、免费赠品以及更多活动。当天还有MY电台主持人林德荣、Emely潘毖伶、大头Aki和德廷的特别亮相，与游客一同玩游戏、送礼物并提灯笼游行。

这是武吉免登规模最大的中秋游灯会，由金河广场荣誉呈献，万能有限公司是主要赞助商，MY电台和吉隆坡武吉免登行动党国会议员方贵伦提供鼎力支持。
