Tao Chinese Cuisine has received widespread acclaim, including the title of 'Best Muslim Friendly Chinese Restaurant' at the prestigious Malaysia Tourism Award 2022. Executive Chinese Chef, Chef Tommy Chong and Master Dim Sum Chef Lo Tian Sion are at the helm of this culinary excellence.
Chef Tommy takes great pleasure in demonstrating his culinary prowess and unveiling inventive innovations at Tao, emphasising mindfulness, care, and aesthetics. Chef Lo, his right hand man, is a culinary master with over 30 years of experience who specialises in creating exquisite dim sum. His love for these delectable creations was inspired by childhood memories, and he consistently maintains the authentic flavours while infusing creative twists into dim sum staples like Siew Mai and BBQ chicken buns.
Dim Sum Making Experience with Master Dim Sum Chef Lo
Classes, which will be launched in conjunction with National Dim Sum Day 2023, will be priced at RM168 per person and will take place every Sunday at 3PM for approximately 1.5 hours. Because more is always better, there will also be an RM714 Family Fun package for 5 people. The icing on the cake is that attendees can take home all of their dim sum, ensuring that nothing goes to waste.
Participants will have the opportunity to create three distinct Steamed and Fried dim sum delicacies all nestled within a single basket during this hands-on experience. The creative journey, led by Chef Lo, begins with a twist: the dim sum dishes would have been chosen ahead of time, adding an element of surprise. All guests need to do is show up and embark on this culinary adventure, meticulously recreating these dishes by following step-by-step instructions. It's an educational and entertaining experience that promises to leave you with lasting memories and new culinary skills.
