[Media Release] DEWAN FILHARMONIK PETRONAS LAUNCHES ‘GENERASI DFP’
Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) is pleased to announce Generasi DFP, a ground-breaking initiative aimed at supporting Malaysia's music and arts landscape.
For over 25 years, DFP has been a beacon of arts and culture in Kuala Lumpur, hosting illustrious artists and groups from a wide range of musical genres and artistic expressions. This year, Generasi DFP aims to provide a platform for singers and songwriters, as well as aspiring musicians, to come forward and showcase their undiscovered talent.
Generasi DFP demonstrates DFP’s commitment to building a vibrant music community and providing a platform for local talent to shine. DFP invites our youth on a journey of discovery and an unforgettable musical celebration.
Audition video submissions will be accepted between 22nd March 2024 and 5th April 2024. Videos can be sent via the DFP website (www.dfp.com.my). We encourage artists aged 18 to 30 years old from various music genres who write their own compositions and are not signed to any recording labels. Throughout the year, DFP will host concerts featuring selected talents.
