Terra 温于婷 Wins Double Titles at TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant and Malaysia All-round Goddess Pageant 2024, Set to Compete in Hong Kong

Setia Alam, 2024 - 27-year-old Terra 温于婷 emerged victorious at the TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant and Malaysia All-round Goddess Pageant 2024, defeating 10 other contestants. Not only did she secure the coveted title, but she also won the "Best Smile Award," making her a double champion in this year’s competition. In February 2025, she will represent Malaysia in the upcoming TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant in Hong Kong.

During the press conference following the awards ceremony, Terra 温于婷 expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering support over the past six months. She emphasized that their dedication and encouragement helped her through the competition journey. "With the prize money I’ve won, I would love to take them on a trip as a way of thanking them for their patience and assistance over these past months," she said. Terra also revealed that she is already preparing for the TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant, aiming to showcase Malaysia’s culture to the Hong Kong audience. She also mentioned her plans to improve her Cantonese skills to bring pride to Malaysia.

One of the judges, renowned Hong Kong actress Grace陈凯琳, praised the contestants for their excellent performance despite only having six months of preparation. She highlighted their outstanding skills in speaking, runway walking, and talent performances in front of a large crowd. Drawing from her own experience as the 2013 Miss Hong Kong and 2014 International Chinese Miss, 陈凯琳 encouraged young women to challenge themselves in pageants while they are still young, noting how the experience was a crucial part of her personal growth.

陈凯琳 offered some advice to Terra 温于婷, reminding her not to put too much pressure on herself during the TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant. "You are already a champion, so you should relax and enjoy the experience. Hong Kong will warmly welcome you," she assured.

The finals of the TVB Miss Chinese International Pageant and Malaysia All-round Goddess Pageant 2024 took place at the Fairyland Ancient City Cultural Resort Hall, where 11 contestants competed in several rounds, including self-introductions, swimwear, runway walks, and traditional evening gowns, to earn their spots in the top five. Alongside Terra 温于婷, the top five finalists included 4th contestant Mia 汤旻晏, 8th contestant Carmen 李嘉雯, 9th contestant Jacy 陈玟蒽, and 11th contestant Chai 蔡抒妏. In the final round, the contestants had to respond to tough questions from the host, showcasing their intelligence and quick thinking to impress the judges.

When asked what charitable initiative she would promote if she won the competition, Terra 温于婷 expressed her desire to advocate for mental health awareness, having personally experienced mental health challenges. Her heartfelt answer, coupled with her radiant smile, earned her the "Best Smile Award."

9th contestant Jacy 陈玟蒽 claimed the first runner-up position and was awarded the "Miss Photogenic" title, while 4th contestant Mia 汤旻晏 finished as the second runner-up and was named the "Cultural Goddess." Both runners-up shared that the six-month training had greatly contributed to their personal growth, and they plan to share their prize money with their families.

27岁的Terra 温于婷，在《国际中华小姐暨马来西亚全能女神竞选 2024》中脱颖而出，击败其他10位佳丽，不仅夺得冠军宝座，还荣获“最佳笑容奖”，成为本届赛事的双料冠军。她将于2025年2月代表马来西亚前往香港，参加《TVB 国际中华小姐竞选》。

在颁奖礼后的记者会上，Terra 温于婷向支持她的家人和朋友致以衷心感谢，表示正是他们的无私付出与支持，才让她在长达6个月的竞选历程中顺利走到今天。“拿到这笔奖金后，我最想带他们一起去旅行，以感谢他们这几个月来的包容和帮助。”她还透露接下来会积极备战《TVB 国际中华小姐竞选》，力争通过自己的表现向香港观众展示大马文化，并开始学习粤语，为代表马来西亚争光做好充分准备。

担任此次赛事评审的香港著名艺人陈凯琳，对参赛佳丽们的表现给予了高度评价，称她们在短短半年的训练中，面对千人的现场表演依然表现出色，尤其是在对话、走秀和才艺表演环节中展现了极高的水准。陈凯琳以自己2013年香港小姐和2014年国际中华小姐双料冠军的经历勉励参赛者，强调选美比赛是她人生中的重要成长阶段，并鼓励年轻女性勇于挑战自我，趁年轻时参与选美赛事，以此让自己变得更优秀。

在仙境古城举行的《国际中华小姐暨马来西亚全能女神竞选 2024》决赛中，11位佳丽通过自我介绍、泳装展示、走秀和中式晚礼服展示后，角逐5强席位。最终，除了Terra 温于婷，还包括4号佳丽Mia 汤旻晏、8号佳丽Carmen 李嘉雯、9号佳丽Jacy 陈玟蒽和11号佳丽Chai 蔡抒妏进入前五名。佳丽们随后在司仪的提问下，展示她们的智慧和应变能力，以争取评审团的青睐。

当被问及若赢得冠军将如何推动公益活动时，Terra 表示她希望通过心理健康活动来帮助有心理压力的人群，因为她曾亲身经历过心理健康问题。这一回答加上她始终灿烂的笑容，令她成功斩获“最佳笑容女神”称号。
