Astro "Let’s Go, Big Shots!" Grand Finale — Priscilla Abby Crowned Champion, Reignites the Malaysian Music Scene

Kuala Lumpur, 2024 — Astro’s first-ever reality music competition, "Let’s Go, Big Shots!" (Astro 《歌手 崛起吧!》), culminated in its highly anticipated grand finale at the CIDB Convention Centre. This prestigious music event showcased exceptional talent and brought renewed energy to Malaysia’s Chinese music scene. Ultimately, Priscilla Abby (蔡恩雨) stole the spotlight with her outstanding performance, taking home the championship title.

"Let’s Go, Big Shots!" was sponsored by CUCKOO, with Adonis as its official partner. The competition featured 10 groups of singers, including Che Zi (车志立), Uriah (徐凯), Fuying & Sam, Firdaus, Danny (许佳麟), Priscilla Abby (蔡恩雨), Dior (大颜), Zhao Jieying (赵洁莉), Madison (刘汉杰), and 3P (Caven, Danny, Kevin). Each contestant gave their all during the grand finale, battling fiercely for the title.

The finale was divided into three rounds. These stages were designed to test every contestant’s skill and resilience. The comeback round saw 3P revive their chances with a powerful rendition of "Pa Sang Anthem (巴生荣耀之歌)," earning a place in the next round. During the main round, Priscilla Abby captured the judges’ hearts with her heartfelt performance of "不要让我太喜欢你." She advanced to the final round, where her electrifying rendition of "Burn" ignited the stage and secured her victory. Meanwhile, Uriah (徐凯) and Che Zi (车子) earned second and third places, respectively, with their performances of "哭啊哭" and "I.D 理想主义者."

The star-studded judging panel featured Taiwanese Golden Melody Award-winning singer Eve ai (艾怡良), Malaysian pop queen Shila Amzah (茵拉), and renowned music producer Guan Qi Yuan (管启源). They praised Priscilla Abby for her well-deserved win. Shila Amzah even expressed her desire to collaborate with her in the future. Eve Ai commended 3P and Uriah for their refreshing stage presence, saying they brought unique energy to the competition. Additionally, both judges performed during the finale, with Shila delivering a soulful rendition of "想你的夜" and Eve Ai mesmerizing the audience with "寂寞无害."

Priscilla Abby’s journey to the championship was marked by challenges and transformation. She revealed that she was initially hesitant to join the competition but was convinced after a heartfelt two-hour conversation with the production team. She admitted facing immense pressure during the show, which led to hair loss. Eventually, she decided to cut her hair short and face the competition with confidence. "I didn’t know why I was so nervous, but that pressure became my motivation. Now that tonight is over, I can finally focus on growing my hair back!" she shared.

The grand finale was hosted by Yoon (吴家润) and Kaka (卡卡), who kept the energy high throughout the evening. Opening the show was guest performer Jeryl (李佩玲), who set the tone with her rendition of "Fight Song." The evening concluded with all the contestants uniting for the debut performance of the theme song "快乐飞鸟," leaving the audience in awe.

蔡恩雨的冠军之路充满挑战与蜕变。她在赛后分享获奖感言时坦言，最初并没有打算参加比赛，但经过节目组近两个小时的诚恳沟通后才决定参赛。比赛期间，她因压力过大一度饱受脱发困扰，最终选择以短发示人，迎接每一场挑战。她感慨地说：“我真的不懂自己为什么会那么紧张，但压力对我来说也是一种推动力，经历了今晚，我终于可以好好养发！”

总决赛由吴家润和卡卡担任主持，气氛热烈非凡。开场嘉宾李佩玲以《Fight Song》为比赛拉开序幕，为整场比赛注入满满的活力。最后，所有参赛歌手以首次公开演唱的《歌手 崛起吧!》主题曲《快乐飞鸟》完美谢幕，将整场演唱会推向最高潮。
