Kuala Lumpur, 2024 - Astro has officially kicked off its 2025 Chinese New Year festivities with the "喜乐乐 SHARE丰年" campaign, a celebration of prosperity, happiness, and the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year. Adding to the excitement is the debut of the adorable "喜乐乐" (Xilele) mascot, symbolizing togetherness and abundance for all.

As part of the launch event, Astro introduced a series of festive merchandise, including 喜乐乐 mascot plush toys, stylish T-shirts, comic books, and 喜乐乐-themed WhatsApp stickers. Fans can now bring the joy of 喜乐乐 into their homes and daily lives.

Astro has also collaborated with Multimedia Entertainment to release its 17th annual Chinese New Year album, 喜乐乐SHARE丰年, featuring 58 talented artists. Packed with four uniquely crafted tracks, the album blends diverse musical styles to offer a refreshing and innovative listening experience.

A Musical Treat for the New Year

Produced by award-winning producer Ciang Teng (邓智彰), the album presents a fusion of creativity and festive vibes:

"喜乐乐SHARE丰年": A lively Agogo-inspired tune that radiates festive cheer with youthful lyrics and an upbeat tempo.

"魔法新年": A Tango-infused melody that exudes mystery and celebration, wishing listeners good fortune and peace.

"一起发达发达啦": A playful Cha-Cha track themed around prosperity, encouraging success in work, studies, and relationships while embracing challenges.

"保你赚够够": A classic Rock ‘n’ Roll anthem filled with energetic rhythms and humorous lyrics, promising a carefree and fun-filled experience.

Festive Goods to Brighten the Season

Astro’s merchandise collection includes 喜乐乐 plush toys and USB albums designed with a unique coin-accented tail to symbolize wealth and good fortune. Fashionable 喜乐乐 T-shirts blend festive charm with everyday style, perfect for adding joy to any outfit.

The merchandise is now available at Popular bookstores nationwide, as well as their online stores on Shopee and Lazada. Additionally, the comic book can be purchased through Hup Lick Publishing (M) Sdn Bhd online platforms. A Season of Joyful Entertainment

Astro’s 2025 Chinese New Year celebrations will officially begin in January, with artists touring major cities in Peninsular Malaysia to meet fans and share the festive spirit. Alongside the album, Astro is launching a special 喜乐乐 Chinese New Year Channel (Channel 100) from 27th January 2025 to 28th February 2025, offering a 24/7 lineup of curated movies, dramas, variety shows, and food documentaries.
