'蛇全蛇美 Hoseh Liao' CNY Roadshow Concludes with Laughter and Surprises

Kuala Lumpur, 2025 - The '蛇全蛇美 Hoseh Liao' Chinese New Year (CNY) Roadshow, organized by 8TV, successfully wrapped up its lively promotional event at Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, on 18th January 2025. The event featured a stellar lineup of CNY ambassadors and the rising girl group Elf 5, bringing festive joy to the enthusiastic crowd through interactive games, giveaways, and live performances.

Unexpected Dance Challenge for Rickman and Orange

As part of the promotions for the hit youth drama 'Whimsical Elf 5 《五比精灵》', hosts Rickman Chia (谢承伟) and Orange Tan (陈慧恬) found themselves in the spotlight when Elf 5 and the audience playfully challenged them. The duo was cornered into making a bold promise—if the drama achieves record-breaking viewership, they would perform a full-fledged girl group dance! The unexpected wager left both Rickman and Orange momentarily stunned but eventually agreeing to the challenge, much to the delight of the audience, who erupted in laughter and cheers.

Games, Dance, and Non-Stop Fun

Hosted by Rickman and Orange, the event kept the crowd engaged with multiple game segments, encouraging participation from the audience. Many of the games involved dancing, including freestyle dance challenges, leading Orange to humorously remark, “It ended up being a chaotic dance-off!”

Another highlight was the balloon-blowing competition, where Owen Yap (叶剑锋) was accused of being 'kiasu' (overly competitive) when he sneakily pre-inflated his balloon. Defending himself, he claimed he was merely “demonstrating” for fans. The game required participants to use the air from their balloons to propel paper cups forward. Natalie Xiao Yu (小玉), who confessed she couldn't blow balloons, resorted to using her breath to push the paper cups manually, breaking the rules but winning over the crowd with her creativity.

Despite the rule-breaking, the spirit of the games remained lighthearted, with everyone receiving prizes, including bird’s nest drinks, essence of chicken, and canned beverages—a truly generous festive giveaway.

Exciting Performances and Festive Atmosphere

The roadshow also featured cast members of 8TV’s special CNY variety show 《蛇全蛇美庆团圆》 which was filmed at Tokong Si Thian Kong in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. Celebrities Owen Yap, Desmond (郑瑞钥), Natalie Xiao Yu, and Ong Ching Yee (王菁忆) shared their behind-the-scenes experiences, including unexpected challenges like shooting in the rain and mastering traditional dance and swordplay routines.

Besides interactive segments, the event featured a star-studded lineup of artists, including Shao Long (魏少泷), Yee Jie(朱宇婕), Houson (黄侯升), and Eight FM radio hosts Kyann (林志遵), Ke Qing (可晴), and Hana (张心怡). Together, they performed festive songs such as 《蛇全蛇美 Hoseh Liao》、《一家齐团圆2.0》和《团圆饭2025》.

Additionally, Elf 5 captivated the audience with their vibrant performances of 《1，2，3 Go!》and《恭喜恭喜新年来团圆》, further elevating the festive mood.

Bringing CNY Festivities to Ipoh

Prior to the Kuala Lumpur event, the ，《蛇全蛇美 Hoseh Liao》CNY Roadshow also made a stop at Ipoh Parade, spreading early Lunar New Year cheer. The Ipoh event featured a different lineup of celebrities, including Owen Yap, Tan Chia Yong (陈嘉荣), Tan Lay Teng (陈丽亭), Gary Yap (叶俊岑), Charlotte (萧心韵), Louis Loh (罗辰昱), Yee Jie (朱宇婕), Bryan (林宏彦), Zion 林俊宏, Elf 5, and Eight FM radio DJs Anson (阿晨) and CC (谢淳庄).

由 8TV 主办的 《蛇全蛇美 Hoseh Liao》新春造势活动 于 2025年1月18日 在 吉隆坡金河广场 热闹举行。此次活动邀请了 新春大使 以及备受瞩目的 女团 Elf 5，通过互动游戏、赠送礼品及精彩演出，为现场观众带来浓厚的春节氛围。

谢承伟、陈慧恬突发“赌约”，女团舞挑战引爆全场

为了宣传热播青春偶像剧 《五比精灵》，主持人 谢承伟 (Rickman Chia) 和 陈慧恬 (Orange Tan) 意外成为焦点。Elf 5 和现场观众纷纷起哄，要求两人挑战女团舞！ 在众人簇拥下，两人被迫承诺——只要该剧收视率创新高，他们就会挑战完整的女团舞蹈表演！ 这一突如其来的“赌约”让两人当场错愕，但最终仍无奈答应，引得全场笑声不断。

游戏、舞蹈、欢乐不停

谢承伟和陈慧恬在主持过程中，不断与现场观众互动，设置了多个游戏环节，吸引大家踊跃参与。许多游戏都与舞蹈有关，其中即兴舞蹈挑战让陈慧恬忍不住笑言：“最后变成群魔乱舞了！”

另一个爆笑环节是 吹气球比赛，当 叶剑锋 (Owen Yap) 被指“kiasu” 偷步提前吹好气球时，他立刻辩解称：“我是示范给粉丝看的！”  小玉 (Natalie Xiao Yu) 坦言自己不会吹气球，最后索性用嘴巴直接吹动纸杯，虽然“违规”，但她的创意方式逗乐全场。

尽管游戏中出现不少“犯规”情况，但大家的目标都是让观众玩得开心，最终 所有参与者都获得了丰富的新春礼品，包括 燕窝、鸡精、罐装饮料 等，诚意满满。

精彩演出，浓厚节庆氛围

造势活动还邀请了 8TV 特备节目《蛇全蛇美庆团圆》 的演员阵容，该节目在 森美兰州瓜拉庇劳西天宫 录制。参与嘉宾 叶剑锋、郑瑞钥 (Desmond)、小玉 (Natalie Xiao Yu) 和 王菁忆 (Ong Ching Yee) 分享了幕后趣事，包括 雨天拍摄 和 挑战传统舞蹈及舞剑 的经验。
