Mom’s Big News! has made headlines by setting a Malaysia Book of Records title for the "“Most Expectant Mothers in a Movie Screening" Directed by Ernest Chong and starring Hong Kong’s award-winning actress Anita Yuen, the film follows a couple’s comedic yet heartwarming journey after discovering they are expecting a child in their golden years.

He also praised event partner SWS 28 Medical, known for its trusted postpartum care products, as a fitting collaborator for the milestone-setting event.

Anita Yuen’s Return to the Big Screen

Captivated by the film’s unique premise, Anita Yuen returned to the big screen to play an elderly woman navigating an unexpected pregnancy after a brief hiatus. Although unable to attend the screening in person, Yuen connected with the audience of expectant mothers via live streaming, sharing personal anecdotes about her own pregnancy.

“Many of the pregnancy scenes in the movie reminded me of my experiences when I was expecting my son, such as eating and then throwing up everything.” she joked, adding that working with the Malaysian team was a joy due to their energy and camaraderie. She commended the team’s professionalism and praised the warmth she felt throughout the filming process.

Chan Fong Juggles Dual Roles with Poise

As both the producer and lead actor, Chan Fong admitted that balancing the two roles added significant pressure.
