Maksim Mrvica Returns to Kuala Lumpur for a Spectacular Pre-Valentine’s Day Concert

KUALA LUMPUR, 2025 – Renowned classical crossover pianist Maksim Mrvica, or simply Maksim, is set to dazzle Malaysian audiences tomorrow night with his highly anticipated Maksim World Tour Segmenti. The concert, organized by Lo-Fi Entertainment, will take place at Mega Star Arena at 8:30 PM, treating fans to a mesmerizing fusion of classical and contemporary music.

At a press conference earlier today, Maksim expressed his excitement about returning to Malaysia after two years. “It’s amazing to be back on stage in Malaysia!” he said with a smile. “The people here are always incredibly warm and welcoming.”

While some might think his pre-Valentine’s Day concert was intentionally planned for the occasion, Maksim clarified that it was purely coincidental. “I didn’t purposely choose Valentine’s Day for my Malaysia tour date—it just happened that way,” he explained.

This time around, Maksim will be able to fully enjoy his stay in Malaysia. Unlike his previous visit, where he had to rush to Singapore for his next performance immediately after his show, Malaysia is now his final stop for this leg of the tour. “Last time, I had no time to explore Malaysia because I had to fly out right after the show. But this year, I get to stay for three days, so I’m looking forward to spending more time here,” he shared.

In preparation for the concert, Maksim revealed that he has been solely focused on rehearsing and hasn’t had time for his usual fitness routine. “This performance is quite challenging, so I’ve been practicing a lot in my apartment,” he said.

As the press conference wrapped up, the charismatic pianist was surrounded by enthusiastic journalists and fans eager for photos. One excited fan even shouted, “After all these years, how do you still look so young and handsome?” prompting laughter from the room and a humble smile from the 49-year-old musician.

Tomorrow’s concert will see Maksim performing with a full orchestra, showcasing tracks from his latest album “Segmenti”, including ABBA and Queen classics alongside timeless masterpieces by Chopin, Prokofiev, and Tchaikovsky. Fans can also expect to hear his signature pieces such as “Croatian Rhapsody”, “Flight of the Bumblebee”, and cinematic themes from “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Game of Thrones”, and “Mission Impossible”.
